Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

Bighornns respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your information when you visit our website, buy from us or contact us.

1. Who we are

Bighornns is a UK-based clothing brand located in Manchester. For the purposes of data protection law, Bighornns is the data controller of your personal information. You can contact us at info@bighornns.com.

2. What information we collect

  • When you order: your name, email address, delivery address, phone number (if you give it), the items you buy and any note you add.
  • When you join our mailing list: your email address, your name if you give it, when and where you signed up, and your consent. We only add you once you confirm by clicking the link we email you.
  • When you make an offer or ask a question: your name, email, phone number (optional), the piece and offer amount, and your message.
  • Payment details are entered on Stripe’s or PayPal’s secure pages. We never see or store your full card details.
  • Technical information such as your IP address and browser, which our hosting provider records in server logs and which we use to protect our forms from abuse.
  • Any other communication or feedback you send us.

3. How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your order, and send order confirmations and shipping updates
  • To reply to offers, questions and customer-support requests
  • To prevent fraud and keep the website secure
  • To keep accounting records and meet our legal obligations
  • To send our newsletter — only if you have signed up and confirmed your email address. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you (orders), our legitimate interests (replying to enquiries, security), legal obligations (accounting) and your consent (marketing).

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the shop:

  • Payment processors — Stripe and PayPal, who process payments under their own privacy policies
  • Delivery and logistics partners — your name, address and phone number, to deliver your order
  • IT service providers — our website host and email provider
  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by law

Some providers (such as Stripe and PayPal) may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We keep cookies to a minimum and do not use advertising or tracking cookies. When a website message is shown or closed we count it anonymously, without identifying you.

Stripe and PayPal may set their own cookies on their payment pages to keep payments secure. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop needs the bag cookie to take an order.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR and data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccuracies in your data
  • Request deletion of your data (where applicable)
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time (for marketing communications)
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk)

7. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes we collected it for. Order records are kept as long as needed to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements (typically six years in the UK). Enquiries that don’t lead to an order are deleted when no longer needed.

8. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted, password-protected access to order data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email.

10. Contact us

If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your personal data, email info@bighornns.com.

Limitation is in the Mind — Bighornns emblem

Bighornns is more than a brand — it’s a movement. Every piece tells a story of resilience, creativity, and the belief that your mind is the only thing that can stop you.
